Service units (SUs) consist of Girl Scout members who live in the same city or county. SUs provide opportunities for volunteers to connect, share experiences, and build camaraderie through their shared commitment to the Girl Scout mission. All volunteers, regardless of volunteer role, are invited to attend SU meetings in their area.
This new landing page is designed to help volunteers understand how they fit into their local service unit community. The diagram below outlines key members of the service unit team and how they collaborate to serve the girl and adult members in their area. Formal descriptions are provided for each service unit volunteer position.
