Tie-dye and create your own wearable art with Acclaim Graphics! The cost includes all dyes, setup, gloves, t-shirts, and rinsing instructions to take home with you. Girls and adults can tie-dye. Cost is $10/shirt for youth sizes and adult sizes S-XL, $15/shirt for 2XL, and $20/shirt for 3XL & 4XL. No group size minimum.

Relationship Skills for Violence Prevention Program
The Prevention Education Department at the Albion Center presents the ‘Relationship Skills for Violence Prevention’ (R.S.V.P) program. The curriculum offers training for middle and high school students on healthy relationship skills, recognizing red flags in friendships and dating relationships, the power and control dynamics leading to abuse, finding help for yourself or others, and bystander intervention methods. This curriculum is adaptable from 1-5 sessions and a variety of settings and situations, including in-person or via Zoom. Students and Parents will also need to complete Albion’s R.S.V.P. Participation Request Form. After the training, and with permission, girls will be anonymously surveyed for data collection purposes. Sensitive Issues Permission form required.

The Pillowcase Project for Brownies & Juniors
Location: Virtual or In Person
Grades: 2-5
This is a preparedness education program that teaches girls about personal and family preparedness and safety skills, local hazards, and basic coping skills. Volunteers will lead girls through “Learn, Practice, Share” frameworks to teach them about disaster preparedness and survival skills. Be Red Cross Ready Program

This program teaches simple steps to follow in advance to ensure that girls and their families can weather a crisis safely and comfortably. Girls will learn to build a survival kit, make a plan, and understand the disasters that are likely to happen in their area.
MapSwipe Program for Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors

Community Service Bar Volunteer Opportunity with the American Red Cross

Volunteering with the American Red Cross allows girls to support the largest humanitarian organizations in the world while making a positive impact on their peers and their community. Girls can learn new skills, maximize talent, meet new people, improve their resumes, and earn the Community Service Bar Pin while making a difference in the lives of others. Volunteer opportunities are available for girls K-12.
ARK Creative Dessert Co

Learn how to decorate sugar cookies with ARK Creative Dessert Co! Each girl will receive three cookies to follow along with the instructor and learn how to decorate using different royal icing techniques. The program lasts approximately one hour. A fun patch can be added at an additional cost.

One Love engages young people with powerful films and honest conversation. Through their workshops and peer-to-peer discussions, One Love offers a framework that helps students spread the message online and in their communities. One Love educates young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to love better. The programs give students the tools to recognize the warning signs of abuse, understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships, and help to empower bystanders.

Image Etiquette Workshop

This workshop is designed to teach girls how to present themselves in front of an audience. Girls will learn about hoop dancing and practice fun hoop tricks to build stamina and confidence! By learning how to keep the hoop going on the waist, the girls will learn how to start finding movement and dance with a hoop. They will learn at least 10 new hand tricks with the hoop, and how to transition the moves into a hoop dance routine.
Music, instruction, games, and professional handmade hoops are all provided in this high-energy, fun hoop dance workshop that everyone will enjoy!

Santa Claus Museum & Village Interactive Tour
Pay a visit to the historic, 1935 Santa Claus Statue. Stop by the Original Santa Claus Post Office, where girls can sit at antique school desks and pen their letters to Santa. Make sure to tour the stunning 1880 Santa Claus Church. And stop by the Santa Claus Museum to read children’s letters to Santa dating back to the 1930s. You may take a photo at the new Santa Claus mural on the front of the building and visit Santa’s Museum Office. Don’t forget to do some shopping in the museum gift shop for a souvenir of your visit!
Reserve a Room for Your Troop Meetings

Solely You DIY Studio in Evansville is now offering Girl Scouts of all levels the chance to create their own one-of-a-kind wooden art!
Workshops are blocked out for 1.5 hours, but painting alone takes approximately 45 minutes.
$15 kits will include the wooden cut-out pieces and the 11-inch backer. The additional $3 will include paint, glue, and sponges to paint with.

Encompasses safety procedures around dogs, from family pets to neighborhood strays.
Pet Care Responsibility (K-8)
Teaches why & how to be a responsible pet owner for the life of the pet, be it a gerbil, dog, or anything in between.
Recycling for the VHS (1-12)
Explains how to help both the VHS and the environment by recycling unused home and office items.
Pet Overpopulation and Spay/Neuter (4-12)
Helps students to understand the enormity of the homeless animal problem and the importance of spaying & neutering.
