Ready for adventure that’s close to home? Then you’re ready for a day camp!
Day camps are a great introduction to camping and help prepare girls for future overnight camp experiences. At GSSI’s day camps, girls will make new friends, discover their strengths, and take on fun challenges in a safe, supportive environment led by passionate Girl Scout volunteers. With a wide range of camp themes and activities—from hands-on crafts to exciting outdoor adventures—there’s something to spark every camper’s curiosity and creativity!
Day camps take place at various locations across southwest Indiana, making it easy to join the adventure close to home! Our day camps are coordinated by dedicated local volunteer teams led by a local director who sets the dates and locations for their camp. Day camps run from 1-5 days or evenings and often include an optional overnight for older girls.
Summer 2027 Day Camps have not yet opened for registration.

Not a Girl Scout, but want to go to camp? You still can!
All girls are welcome at Girl Scout camp. If you’re not already a member, there’s a small membership fee that makes you an official Girl Scout for the membership year—just for camp, or more if you’d like! There’s no need to join a troop unless you want to. You can become a Girl Scout just to go to camp, take part in special events, travel, join interest-based clubs, or even earn badges on your own. It’s all about what works for you!
