Evansville, IN — September 26, 2025 — The Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana (GSSI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Fee as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Mary brings a deep and enduring commitment to the Girl Scout mission, having served GSSI in a variety of leadership roles over the years. From her initial role as Fund Development Specialist, to Director of Fund Development, and then Chief Impact Officer, Mary has consistently demonstrated a passion for empowering girls and building strong community connections.
As Interim CEO, Mary provided steady leadership during the Board’s comprehensive search for a permanent chief executive, ultimately earning unanimous support for the role.
“Mary is a familiar and trusted face to our staff, volunteers, members, and community partners,” said Danyelle Granger, Board Chair of GSSI. “Her vision, dedication, and experience uniquely position her to elevate the value and relevance of the Girl Scout Movement in today’s world.”
In her new role, Mary is committed to expanding opportunities for girls across southwest Indiana and strengthening the organization’s impact in the community. “I am dedicated to empowering girls to be anything and everything they want to be—because the opportunities are endless,” she said. “The girls of today are tomorrow’s leaders, and I’m honored to play even a small part in helping them reach their full potential.
