Every year, folks spend a weekend getting Camp Koch dusted off, cleaned up, and ready for summer campers!

Clean-up takes place from 9 AM to 4 PM CT on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch will be served in the Dining Hall for all those volunteering. This is a great community service opportunity!

Participants must be in Grade 2 or above to participate. Individuals, families, groups, organizations, and troops are welcome to join! No overnight camping options will be available during this time.

📝 TO RSVP: If you, your group, family, troop, or organization would like to help, please RSVP by submitting your information with the online form.

⚠️ RSVP DEADLINE: RSVP by May 15

‼️ REQUIREMENTS: All individuals MUST sign a Camp Permission Form to attend. Forms will be included in your confirmation email, and MUST be completed and submitted online by May 15, 2026.
Troops in attendance MUST maintain proper girl-to-adult ratio at all times, and troop leader(s) MUST bring all required permission forms for girls.

NOTE: If needed, volunteer hours will be authorized/signed off by the Camp Director.

What to Wear or Bring:

  • Clothes that can get dirty
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Hat or Bandana
  • Bug spray
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Work gloves
  • Broom(s)
  • Snacks (if needed)

Donations Needed (optional):

  • Swiffer Pads and Spray
  • Plastic storage totes
  • Cleaning supplies

NOTE: If you would like to donate supplies but cannot attend Good Turn Weekend, please call the council office to schedule a drop-off time. Donations can be brought to the council office in Evansville.
 

It takes many hands to get this big project done, so we hope you will join us to ensure that the campgrounds are ready for making memories this summer!
