GSSI wants to share this opportunity with volunteers who may be interested in becoming a certified archery instructor. This is NOT a training in collaboration with GSSI, but a general community training opportunity.
With the assistance of Holy Redeemer School and Coach Ashley Howard, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources has scheduled an Indiana NASP® Basic Instructor Training (BAI) certification course for southwest Indiana at Holy Redeemer School (in their gym), located in Evansville, IN. This training is for individuals wanting to be certified instructors for NASP.
NASP® Hybrid Training Curriculum will be used for this course. This training has taken a new look with many newly added benefits. The traditional BAI class was scheduled to last 9 hours but the newly developed National NASP® Hybrid Basic Archery Instructor course requires the completion of two hours of online training before attending a 5 hour “Field Day”.
The online training must be completed on or before Wednesday, January 22nd to attend the in-person training on January 23rd. The online training will NOT be available on the 23rd. The date for the in-person training will be Thursday, January 23rd starting at 4:30 PM CT and should end no later than 9:30 PM. Additional information about the training is listed on the registration page.
To attend this certification training, you must register for the
class by clicking the registration button on this page, and
following these instructions:
- When the page opens, please click the blue box
titled “Register For This Class.”
- In the registration process,
it will ask you what school you are associated with. When looking up
your school during class registration, please enter the first few
letters of your school’s name then search and it should come right up
for you. Once your school’s name is located, please click on it to
select it.
Once registered, each person will receive additional information about the certification training and the online training that must be completed before the in-person training.
Please make every attempt to attend this scheduled class. You can also check their training schedule for future opportunities.
