Complete a Journey virtually with Girl Scouts from across the country!
Join Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Road to discover how to use the "power of one" and the "power of team" to create the "power of community" that improves the world. During this Agent of Change Journey, you will begin to build the confidence to make changes to your community and learn the importance of working together with a team.
Discover the skills you have that make you a great leader and how you can relate them to the Girl Scout Law. You will earn three awards during this Journey:
- POWER OF ONE AWARD - Girl Scouts will use their own 'power log' to discover all the ways their strengths and powers help them create change in the world, and discover the qualities of a leader.
- POWER OF TEAM AWARD - Girl Scouts will make a team decision and begin to brainstorm ideas for a Take Action Project. The project will reach into a community network to solve a problem together with community members.
- POWER OF COMMUNITY AWARD - Girl Scouts will take action on their plan, reach out, and inspire others to get involved. After the project, Girl Scouts will reflect on what they have accomplished and celebrate it.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: January 26, 2025
COST: $30
Girl Scouts will receive a link to the Take Action Google Slides at the end of the event to help them with the planning and completion of their Take Action project for this journey.
