Join us for a night of swimming, slides, and fun as Girl Scouts take over Burdette Park Aquatic Center for our Family Swim Party!
GSSI has rented out the whole space for the evening so that you can enjoy the park with just your friends and family (including dads and brothers), but this event is open for all girls entering grades K-12 in Fall 2025 and their families!
All girls must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event. Pre-registration is required.
New Girl Scouts and girls entering kindergarten through grade 12 in Fall 2025 can choose to register now and become a member today through 9/30/2026. The benefits of becoming a Girl Scout include being able to participate in all council events at member cost. You may also join a troop, and attend area events such as dances, outdoor events, and more! In addition, you receive member costs to attend area day camps and GSSI Resident Camp at Camp Koch.
The event will take place rain or shine, but in case of pool closure due to storms/lightning, the rain date will be July 26. No refunds will be issued unless both dates are canceled in their entirety. Check GSSI's Facebook page for updates on the day of the event.

About Burdette Park Aquatic Center: One of the largest aquatic centers in the Midwest, it features a large Olympic pool with two diving boards. There is a family pool with two breathtaking slides and a children’s pool with a floating alligator and snake closely guarded by a skilled team of guards and EMTs. There is an exciting interactive spray park for smaller children and an awesome speed slide to delight the more adventurous.
