Join the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the University of Southern Indiana (USI) for a hands-on Woodworker Badge Workshop for Cadettes!
During this event, Girl Scouts will fulfill all requirements for
the Cadette Woodworker Badge while learning from engineering
students and professionals. There are 3 available sessions, limited
to 12 girls each:
• Session 1: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Session 2: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• Session
3: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
WHERE: Applied Engineering Center (AEC) at USI
COST: FREE! Plus, all girls will receive a SWE fun patch!
REGISTRATION: Limited Space is available.
Safety Requirements: Due to the use of high-power
machinery, all participants must follow safety guidelines:
•
Wear short-sleeved shirts, long pants, and closed-toe shoes (no
Crocs, please!)
• Remove rings, necklaces, and watches before
entering the shop floor
• Hair must be tied back
