Complete a Journey virtually with Girl Scouts from across the country!
Join Girl Scouts of Central Texas for this (virtual) Journey event on Your Voice, Your World: The Power of Advocacy!
How often have you seen something that really needed to be changed and wondered, "Why isn't someone doing something about that?" This journey (for eleventh and twelfth graders) gives Girl Scout Ambassadors a way to be that someone - an advocate with the power to start the first flutter of real and lasting change. While creating their own "butterfly effect", they'll learn skills-such as networking, planning, and speaking up for what they believe - that will prepare them for life beyond high school.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: November 17, 2024
COST: $30
Senior Girl Scouts are welcome to attend this event to fulfill their prerequisite for their Gold Award.
Girl Scouts will receive Take Action Google Slides to help them with the planning and completion of their Take Action project for this journey. There may be some items that will need to be completed at home before starting the Take Action project. Details on what needs to be completed will be included in the Google Sides. Girl Scouts will receive a link to the Take Action Google Slides at the end of the event to help them with the planning and completion of their Take Action project for this journey.
