The University of Evansville (UE) is having a big day coming up for one of their Women’s Basketball games: National Girls & Women in Sports Day!
They would love to have Girl Scouts and their families come to their game on February 3, 2024, against Bradley University, at 5 PM at Meeks Family Fieldhouse.
UE is offering FREE tickets to Girl Scouts and their families
to the game, as well as for the following:
- Lunch with
Student-Athletes and Panel: 1 PM (tentative) girls in 8th grade and
younger
- Tour of Campus and Clinics: 3:00 – 4:45 PM (campus
tour for everyone, clinic girls 8th grade and younger)
- Food:
Free for all kids who participate (they will receive a coupon for a
hot dog, chips, and drink, or something similar; girls 8th grade and younger)
Sport Clinic Activities include:
- Softball – pitching game & Tee ball game

Basketball – “Queen of the court” - camp game
- Soccer – “Red
Light Green, Light” - camp game
- Track – Relay races

Golf - Putting relay races
- Volleyball – camp game

Esports – play a game
- Other areas in athletics- athletic
training activity, strength and conditioning, external ops (media)
Parents of kids will receive free admission as well.
