Good Turn Weekend is now happening in the fall, too!

Every year, folks can spend a weekend volunteering to get Camp Koch cleaned up and visitor-ready! This autumn, we're taking time to deep-clean in places we don't get to focus on and ensuring that it is ready for groups visiting in cooler months. Clean-up takes place from 9 AM to 4 PM CT on Saturday and Sunday, and lunch will be served to all those volunteering. Come one or both days to make Camp Koch gleam for fall visitors. This is a great community service opportunity!

For this Good Turn Weekend, we will be offering the option to stay overnight! Accommodations are TBD but will include the cabins and platform tents. Adults planning to stay overnight are required to have a background check on file with GSSI no later than SEPTEMBER 14, 2026.

Individuals, families, groups, organizations, and troops are welcome to join! Participants must be in Grade 2 or above to participate. Troop leaders and/or families are responsible for the supervision of their own youth. Troops in attendance must maintain proper ratio at all times, and troop leader(s) must bring all required permission forms for girls.

👧 WHO: Participants must be in Grade 2 or above to participate. Local groups are welcome!
You don't need to be a Girl Scout to volunteer for this community service opportunity.
