GSSI Volunteers are invited to get certified at Camp Koch with the Fall 2025 Troop Camp Training!
Troop Camp Training certifies volunteers to hold tent camping overnights at campgrounds and other outdoor locations. The training provides a hands-on camp training during an overnight experience. Skills covered will include advanced fire building, various outdoor cooking techniques, tent care, leave no trace, and much more. Troop Camp Training is typically offered twice a year, once in the fall and also in the spring.

COST: $20.00 per person to cover food and training expenses. A
$2.50 credit card processing fee will be added to each
submission.

REQUIREMENTS: "Fire Building and Basic Outdoor Cooking"
MUST have been completed at least 6 months prior to Troop Camp
Training in order to effectively practice skills.
