Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana is partnering with Lampion Center to present Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children to adults in our community. This evidence-informed, award-winning training teaches adults practical actions they can take to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Additional course details and the facilitator’s biography are available on our registration page.
We are excited to share that the cost of this training has been waived due to grant funding, and participants have the option to participate in person or virtually. All Girl Scouts of Southwest Indiana (GSSI) volunteers are strongly advised to complete this training in accordance with GSSI's Policies, Standards, Volunteer & Child Protection Guidelines; this training is offered in the spring and fall annually.
